We spent the weekend up in Maryland. We drove up late after work and found a cozy Sam's Club parking lot to pull off and sleep for the night.

The next day we took a quick drive over the bridge to visit our old home. Neighborhood was PACKED with cars...to the point it's basically a one lane road. Not great for driving the RV, but neat to see the house again. Showed the kid where we used to live when he was born. We ended the memory lane tour with a visit to Rita's Water Ice, just down the street.

Next we headed to downtown Annapolis, parking at the Navy football field. First stop, Annapolis Ice Cream Company. Alive and well as you can see the line that the kid and dad waiting in...

The kid got a scoop of banana and a scoop of salted caramel. Dad got a scoop of chocolate coconut and a scoop of strawberry Nutella. The kid like banana the best, mom like salted caramel (surprise surprise) and dad really enjoyed the strawberry Nutella.

After Annapolis we went to dinner at the Cress'. We missed Owen who was at Boy Scout camp, but we got to meet their new dog Mookie. Dave and his kids came over as well. Was a nice dinner and visiting. Ended the evening with a quick swim at their local pool. We stayed the night in their driveway and cedar opted to stay the night in a real bed with AC :)

The next day we hung out with the Cress'. We ended the day with canoeing and paddle boarding in the waterways near their home. Capped the day off with a quick swim. Was a great visit with the Cress'.

That evening we had dinner with the Kurc's and Marshall's. The kid and Robert paled around playing video games all night while the big kids caught up and reminisced. Was a fun evening with old friends and families.
