We all agreed after driving straight through Kansas and Missouri that we wanted to spend a day somewhere. One of us thought the mid-west country-side was beautiful...

Nashville sounded like a really cool town so we parked the RV in the Tennessee Titans stadium parking lot, put the dog in her bag and walked across the river into Nashville downtown.

We were first greeted by the Johnny Cash museum. Where the kid got a smashed penny. We then walked to the music stars walk and country music hall of fame.

We walked down to the museum which was closed since they were moving. We missed the war museum since it's closed on Mondays. So we walked down to the State Capital building on our way to Germantown. We were able to get outta the heat for a bit and toured around the different offices and speech halls. Quite a nice building.

Partway to Germantown a local recommended we pass on Germantown especially with a child. So we decided to head down to Fort Nashborough along the river. This is a recreation of the fort town that existed before the city of Nashville grew into what it is today.
