Cedar and I spent some time talking to a local in Tennessee whom we met along the Haw Ridge mountain biking trail. He told us several different stories about local history. Was really neat to hear about the history of the area. He mentioned this place neither of us had heard of before, Cade's Cover. What he described sounded really interesting.

Upon finish the ride, we decided we needed to visit Cade's Cover.

Cade's Cove is nestled in the wonderful Smokey Mountain National Park. The park is free entry and Cade's Cover is an easy 11-mile loop. Strangely most people in the part just drove the loops, but we got out at several locations along the journey to take in the views and walk into several of the old homes left behind.

This was James Oliver's home he built. Was neat to be able to walk up and touch the building, walk into the building and explore the simple cabin home.

We stayed the night in a nice new RV+Camping+recreaion location called Little Arrow. Was nice to hook up power, shower and enjoy a relaxing evening and morning the next day.
