We'd never heard of Estes Park before a co-worker in Denver made the recommendation. What an amazing recommendation and town. Beautifully nestled in the mountains at 7500 feet. The town was packed being the 4th of July weekend. It didn't feel too packed even in an RV.

Just days before we arrived the town opened at Bike Park at Stanley Park. We had so much fun at the park and went multiple times. We walked/biked around the lake, enjoyed the downtown and visited the Family Fun park for a day of fun. We all truly enjoyed our time in Estes Park and only scratched the surface of what the town has to offer.

We stopped in a bought a little bit of taffy at The Taffy Shop. Apparently the only place that makes their taffy local in Estes Park. They have machines they've been using since the 1930's and 1950's with glass windows where you can watch them make and package the taffy. Tasted quite yummy as well...

Who doesn't love sliding around the corners full-throttle. We even saw a grandma spin out a grandson to take the lead...
