It was great to stay local in Denver for the week. Mom and son traveled all around Englewood and Centennial exploring the parks and local communities.

Dad was able to spend some time in the local office, get some work done and visiting with co-workers. One evening was spent on what was supposed to be a mountain biking trail. After doing a 500-700ft climb on the bike at 6500 feet he was toast. Came down the hill and waiting for his coworkers to finish. Telling...just how out of shape he is. Trail was a simple loop at Green Mountain.

One evening was spent down in Denver proper eating crepes and enjoying drinks at Stem Cider.

We ended up flip flopping between Walmart parking lots and Bear Creek State Park (Indian paintbrush Campground). Bear Creek was a beautiful park with lots of amenities including multiple lakes, endless bike and walking paths and plenty of wild life. Only complain is the campsite/RV sites were quite a distance from the lake.

We've continued to struggle with our fridge. In Estes park we found putting a fan at the fridge intake location helped to cool down fridge overnight, but still lingered in the high 40's. We called several mobile RV repair companies around Denver. To our amazement we had calls back from all 3 within an hour...Coming from town where you couldn't get anyone to call you back if you gave that a $20 spot...We were floored.

Chris, from Road Ready RV Service, was the first to call back. After explaining the symptoms to Chris on the phone (short version: freezer works, fridge barely works). He recommended this is most likely a blockage and we simply needed to empty the fridge, turn it off for 24 hours then start again. He offered up this advise free of charge and then followed up 2 days later to see if it work...pretty cool customer service.

It did work. The next day our fridge was at 36-degrees. Unfortunately, we're still struggling to get it to keep temp. Chris offered some more advice even though he knew we were no longer in Colorado. Great business would recommend.

Apparently forgot how to use the camera in Denver, sorry, no pictures.
